As most of you already know Rafal Listopad and myself took on an extensive roll 7.13 miles in on SS 2 of Laughlin International Rally. We are OK, but we can not say the same about the car. Since the roll took it down the hill, wrecker pulled it out for us. It was rough as rough as the car is right now, but we are glad we came out of this whole thing in one piece.
See our day on Saturday as it got pretty interesting. We checked out some other events of Laughlin Motorsport Festival.
Pro-Am Drifting competition just across the river in Bullhead City. The event is organized on dedicated for this sport drifting track. It was a new experience for us East-Coasters to see this kind of sport.
Just like at rally racing these guys run into some obstructures sometimes as well. In about 45 minutes that we were there two cars damaged their back and one drove head on into the concrete barrier...
I believe the best car in the event. Very nicely built and driven. Big thumbs up.
We also met Polish drifting competitor (from San Francisco, CA) at his event. His family was there for his support. Him and his brother on the photo.
Then we went to south Laughlin, NV to check out ATV event. We were expecting some motocross type competition with jumps and everything. Meantime, they were draging them!!!
They actually brought a real dirt dragster and did a show run with it.
Here is an interesting one. We thought this was pretty nuts.
Moberly, the rally leader awaits to start the Super Stage, last stage on Saturday.
Wyeth shortly after loosing some lighing after a dip on the Super Stage. Tomorrow they will run this stage three times, four car at the same time !!!
